Levitating Star Globe Lamp – A Floating Constellation Sphere

A constellation globe that hangs in mid-air, turns when you touch it, and glows in whatever colour you are in the mood for. The Levitating Star Globe Lamp holds a clear sphere — printed with constellation lines and star names — above a magnetic base, with nothing underneath it. Give it a push and it turns on its own axis. The light cycles through blue, purple, green, red and warm white, so the same object reads cool and modern one minute and warm the next.

The base is black, finished like a watch face with Roman numerals around the dial and a rim that lights up white. It runs on USB: set the globe over the base, let the magnets catch it, and it hangs there. It is the one object on a desk or a shelf that people pick up and ask about.
